Hidden Valley Inn is located high in the Mountain Pine Ridge in the Cayo District of Belize, Central America. This remote lodge, situated amidst 7200 acres of private reserve, offers guests both pine forest and tropical jungle where the flora and fauna are like few places on earth. At an altitude of over 2000 feet, the climate of the Mountain Pine Ridge is comfortable year round with an average annual temperature of 73°F.
The location of the Inn provides convenient access to the endless attractions of Belize. Discover past and present cultures by visiting ancient Mayan archaeological sites and modern day rural villages. Other tours on offer include horseback riding, river canoe trips and exploring the many caves in the area. Be sure to schedule enough time to enjoy all of the natural splendors that the Cayo District has to offer and at least one day to explore the numerous private waterfalls on Hidden Valley Inn's private reserve.

Belize Maya Mountains Discovery - Full Itinerary
Cayo District - Day 1
Arrive Belize & transfer into the rainforest of the Cayo district. Located in the western interior of Belize, this district encompasses a large portion of the Maya Mountains and has more than its fair share of ancient Maya sites to visit
and explore. Cayo is home to forests teeming with wildlife, and immaculately beautiful tropical watersheds catered to by a variety of jungle and river lodges
Xunantunich & San Ignacio - Day 2
This morning you visit the impressive Mayan ruins of Xunantunich, a major ceremonial site, where you will have a private guided tour of the site. Xunantunich sits atop a limestone ridge overlooking the overlooking the Mopan River and the Cayo District.
After the tour you will go to the traditional town of San Ignacio where there is time to explore before transferring back to the hotel.(B)
Cave Adventure - Day 3
Enjoy an adventurous cave / river trip to see ancient Mayan ritual sites where artifacts remain. Choose between Barton Creek where you canoe through the cave or Actun Tunichmal for a more strenuous & adventurous jungle & cave trip with a surprise at the end! (B,L)
Caracol & Mountain Pine Ridge - Day 4
Travel through the scenic Mountain Pine Ridge National Park on your way to the famous Mayan Site at Caracol. At Caracol enjoy a private guided tour of this impressive site which is the largest Maya site in Belize. On the way back to the hotel stop to visit the Rio Frio Caves and Pools with swimming if time permits (B,L)
Transfer Out - Day 5
Return overland to Belize International Airport in plenty of time for your flight out. (B)
