Destination Weddings and Honeymoons

Destination Weddings - Love on Location™

Your wedding day is unique – why not hold it in a unique place?

Gamboa Rainforest Resort

Whether it’s just the two of you or a group of extended family and friends, let JB Journeys help you find a unique location and stunning setting for this once in a lifetime event, your destination wedding. We like to call it ‘Love on Location™’.

This is a wedding and honeymoon all in one. It’s like eloping but bringing along friends! Remember, your family and friends are taking vacation time to attend, so let’s make if memorable for them too.

Our philosophy at JB Journeys is to experience and participate in local culture, and we try to bring the same to destination weddings. JB Journeys avoids the big-box, all inclusive resorts and seeks out small, local, boutique settings for your big day. We aim to incorporate local music and traditions into your wedding.

What’s your fancy?

Getting married in Belize? Dreaming of wedding ceremonies on the beach?

Barefoot beach ceremony for an intimate group of witnesses? We suggest Victoria House on Ambergris Caye in Belize.

This beautiful, beachfront, boutique hotel allows a maximum of 20 guests during high season and 30 otherwise. No matter where you choose to marry, it will be a lovely backdrop. Many couples like to exchange vows on the beach under swaying palms, poolside under a full moon, or on the pier during a Caribbean sunset!

Or will Mother Nature be your witness? Hidden Valley Inn in the Mountain Pine Ridge region of Belize invites you and a small party to tie the knot in front of a 90-foot waterfall. Hidden just a short distance from the main lodge are a number of natural falls, each of which has hosted weddings. No more beautiful wedding backdrop can be imagined. A local Mayan minister or justice of the peace will officiate.

For a truly unique experience, one that combines romance and adventure, Chaa Creek Lodge in Belize offers to hold your ceremony in front of an ancient and sacred Mayan temple. Consider the history at such a place! This is not just an exchange of vows, but an emotional and spiritual blending of lives.

Gamboa Rainforest Resort in Panama hosts ceremonies in, well obviously, the rainforest. The resort sits on the Chagres River, one of the waterways which carry fresh water to the world famous Panama Canal. (pictured above)

At Playa Bonita Resort outside Panama City, the Pacific Ocean frames your wedding ceremony. This lovely new resort can arrange weddings large or small, indoors or out, beach or forest.

Please let JB Journeys help you plan your destination wedding. We can arrange license, minister or civil officiant, flowers, cake, music, dinner, reception, video or photographer. We are here to make your wedding day unforgettable.
